Iranian delegation visits Fronius in Sattledt

High-ranking delegates from Iran’s biggest automotive supplier SAPCO visited the Fronius production site in Sattledt on 5th July 2017. The introduction to the company and its range of products was met with great interest. There are already plans for a reciprocal visit by Fronius to Iran.

After the Upper Austrian Automotive Cluster attended a supplier innovation day as a guest of Iranian automotive supplier SAPCO (Supplying Automotive Part Company) in December 2016, the Automotive Cluster arranged for SAPCO to visit Austria. Alongside companies such as Fill and voestalpine, a visit to Fronius was also part of the itinerary for the high-ranking delegates from SAPCO. The Iranian delegation was able to gain an insight into the Fronius product portfolio during a tour of the production site and in-depth conversations in Sattledt. The opportunity was taken to agree a reciprocal visit by Fronius to SAPCO in Iran, one of the world’s top 20 vehicle-manufacturing countries. Fronius is already active in Iran in the form of two representatives as part of its global sales and service network and has been cultivating business relations in the region for some time.
