Orbital application

SECTOR: OIL INDUSTRY
WELDING PROCESS: MIG-MAG

Longitudinal-seam and orbital welding system for the mechanised MIG-MAG welding of storage tanks. Vertical weld joints are performed by the FlexTrack 45 rail-mounted welding carriage and the finished ring sections by a horizontal welding carriage, whose two control stations allow simultaneous welding of both sides. The system has been designed specifically so that it can be used in ambient temperatures as low as -25°C.
