LOGISTICS & DISTRIBUTION: FRONIUS’ FIRST TRADE FAIR IN SPAIN
Logistics & Distribution, which will take place from 7th to 8th November in Madrid, is a very special event for Fronius: it is the first time that we will have our own stand at a trade fair in Spain. Visitors to Stand F16 in Pavilion 9 will discover all there is to know about the comprehensive product and service portfolio we offer as a cost-optimisation partner for intralogistics.
Fronius established a branch office in Spain back in 2008. The Business Unit Perfect Charging has also been active here with its own sales team since April of this year. One of the solutions presented at Logistics & Distribution will be the “Cool Battery Guide Easy” information and management system. This shows the user which battery has been fully charged for the longest and is therefore the coolest, optimising the utilisation of the battery pool and increasing the service life of the batteries.
Visitors to the event in Madrid can also find out about the innovative battery charging systems in the Selectiva family. The Selectiva device in the 3kW power category is a brand-new addition, designed for use with traction batteries with operating voltages of 12, 24 or 48 volts. With its compact external dimensions and a weight of nine kilograms, the charger is easy to install, and offers flexible mounting options including wallmounting.
Like all Selectiva models, it uses the Ri charging process developed by Fronius. This process automatically detects the various parameters of the connected battery, such as its age, temperature and state of charge, and adapts the charging characteristic accordingly. As a result, overcharging – which causes high energy losses and harmful warming of the battery – can be reduced to a minimum. This drastically lowers energy consumption while simultaneously extending the service life of the expensive batteries.
