Fronius Symo Hybrid now compatible with LG Chem RESU storage system

Do you already own a Fronius Symo Hybrid? Congratulations! You can now quickly and easily enhance your system with an LG Chem RESU storage system and thereby maximise your self-consumption rate. This is because the Fronius Symo Hybrid is now also compatible with the LG storage system, which means you can now efficiently store excess energy from the photovoltaic system in the LG Chem RESU7H (6.6 kWh of usable capacity) or LG Chem RESU10H (9.3 kWh of usable capacity). This works with both newly installed and existing systems.

The Fronius Symo Hybrid is an intelligent all-in-one product, combining the functions of a battery charging system, battery inverter, hybrid inverter, controller and with system monitoring.* Alongside the Fronius Solar Battery, this product is now also compatible with the LG Chem RESU storage system. For Symo Hybrid Inverters with a software version lower than 1.9.1-x, you will find the required update here.

For price and quality-conscious system owners, compatibility with the LG Chem RESU storage system provides maximum independence and the highest possible self-consumption. Maximum operational reliability is guaranteed by the Fronius Checkbox 500V.  

 

Upgrade possible at any time

The LG Chem RESU storage system can be retrofitted into the existing system at any time. An update will need to be installed in order to do this for systems with a software version lower than 1.9.1-x. The updates are described here.

Optimal self-consumption rate thanks to smart energy flow management

The Fronius Symo Hybrid’s integrated Multi Flow Technology gives the system ultimate flexibility, with various DC and AC energy flows possible in parallel and simultaneously. This means, for example, that a consumer can be supplied with power at the same time as the storage system is being loaded.
