Welding 2018: Fronius Presents on Industry 4.0

The Welding 2018 conference was held in Timișoara, Romania, from April 26–27.

The annual event is hosted by the Romanian Welding Society and this year’s theme was ‘Industry 4.0’. Helmut Ennsbrunner, Head of Predevelopment at Fronius, gave a talk on the significance of Industry 4.0 for welding technology. The other speakers from research and industry focused mainly on additive manufacturing, joint welding, laser applications, and robotic welding.
