The owners of this one-family residence wanted to be independent from methane gas and completely powered by electricity: BRM Impianti helped them realise this vision.
The 13.44 kWp PV-system, connected to a Fronius Symo 6.0 and a Fronius Symo Hybrid 5.0, produces more than 14,000 kWh per annum: this yield provides enough energy for all the electrical needs of the household appliances, in particular the heat pump for producing hot water and the Clivet ventilation system. The possibility to store the energy surplus in a Fronius Solar Battery 12.0 fulfils the owner‘s desire to become more independent from the grid: “Thanks to the Fronius Energy Package we can store the electricity we have generated during the day and use it during the night” reports Mrs. Proserpio.
The family‘s electric bills have been halved thanks to intelligent energy management,which ensures an average self-consumption rate of 70%. The home owners can also check their production and consumption via system monitoring and Fronius Solar.web.
