The compact project inverter.
Mega performance with Fronius Eco
Tokmak is a small town in the southern part of central Ukraine. In 2018, the local installation company Tokmak Solar Energy completed Ukraine’s largest PV system, which generates an impressive 51.9 MWp of solar energy. The solar energy plant is therefore making an extraordinary contribution to increasing the role of renewables in Ukraine’s energy mix.
There were several reasons for choosing the Fronius Eco inverter, one of which being the PC board replacement technology. This means that should servicing be required, Tokmak can replace any faulty components on the inverter directly onsite, thus avoiding lengthy downtimes. Another is the active cooling technology, which keeps down maintenance costs. In other words, the lowest running costs for the maximum yields. Put simply, the Fronius Eco is an investment that pays off.
Tokmak Solar Energy has been a Fronius Service Partner Plus for several years – a partnership that has hit new heights with this project. Fronius also has a branch office in Kiev with a spare and replacement parts warehouse, which helps improve the levels of service and co-operation even further.
