Westpoint Exeter will reduce their carbon emissions by approx. 64,300 kg a year - the equivalent to over 2,900 trees - thanks to their new roof mounted solar array installed by CleanEarth Energy, using 6 Fronius Symo inverters.
Devon County Agricultural Association, who run Westpoint Exeter, worked with CleanEarth for some time to design the most effective solar power solution for the venue. This included the completion of a complex 3D analysis, taking into account any shading impact.
Josh Bower, Operations Director, CleanEarth said, “Selecting a suitable inverter is critical to the overall performance and long term success of any solar PV project. For the installation at Westpoint we selected Fronius for two reasons, first due to the quality and reputation of the manufacturer, and second due to the high performance and reliability Fronius inverters have demonstrated on an array of similar projects completed by CleanEarth.”
