As we are experiencing unprecedented growth, we are now seeking a customer orientated administrator within our Perfect Welding Technical Support team. Full product and process training will be given for the right candidate. This role is a great opportunity for a driven and dynamic individual to grow and learn, with progression to expert level within the role.

The successful candidate will already have good IT and communication skills. Reporting directly to the Technical Support Manager, you will partake in regular meetings with him and the UK team as well as our teams based at our head office in Austria.

Your duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Office administration (e.g. coordinating appointments, sending customer reminders, handling customer enquiries via telephone and email, ordering office materials, customer and internal training, etc.)
  • Coordination and administration of the Welding demonstration equipment/hired equipment as well as support and administration for the Welding technical team
  • Organising service and repair visits
  • Responsibility for ensuring that TSN Service internal work processes are maintained and adhered to on a day to day basis
  • Providing support at trade fairs, exhibitions and events, etc.
  • Any other office support ad-hoc duties

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Relevant professional experience - Welding technical knowledge would be an advantage
  • Sales / communication technology experience with good presentation skills
  • Good computer skills, such as MS Office and CRM, are required
  • Customer oriented attitude
  • Organised, motivated with a can-do attitude with a desire and willingness to undertake further training to develop their skills
  • Team worker with willingness to impart knowledge to others
  • Flexibility (working hours and tasks arranged to suit customer requirements)
  • Cost conscious
  • A knowledge of ERP systems ( BaaN ) would be a great advantage
  • Excellent communication skills in English, verbal and written – German would be a plus but not essential
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to our workshop in Scotland and global head office in Austria for meetings and training

This role offers potential progression to National Process Expert for Service based on acquiring the skills and experience within the current TSN Admin support role. This will include the following in addition to the existing role requirements:

  • Maintaining, advising and supporting all national Fronius users on all service and application topics and processes
  • Working closely with other internal departments and their international counterparts to ensure proper operation of the service applications
  • Checking conformity with the service processes as part of internal audits at the national headquarters in Austria
  • Identify and evaluate possible deviations, consulting with Expert International to ensure process compliance is guaranteed
  • Keeping informed about national laws that may affect the service process
  • Holding internal training for national employees

This role is a full time role. You will be based at our head office is based in Milton Keynes with occasional travel to our workshop in Scotland and our global head office in Austria.
