*Offer valid at participating USA partner shops from October 20th though November 20th, 2020. Limited to fifty (50) welding competition entries per partner shop. Weld test must be scheduled by filling out the form below and choosing the shop you want to go to from the list below.
For COVID-19 protection purposes, participation is by appointment only. All participants must bring their own PPE, including: Welding helmet, Welding jacket, Welding gloves, Safety glasses, and Side cutters.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE

- Fill out the form below
- You will get a call from the selected partner to set up your demo appointment in the following days
- Show up to your appointment with your own full PPE gear (Welding helmet, Welding jacket, Welding gloves, Safety glasses, and Side cutters).
- Show off your welding skills on the weld-kit that will be waiting for you at the shop.
Eligibility: You must weld using MIG, TIG and Stick processes in the weldkit. Winner will be notified via email.
Participating partners
The welding contest
- Weld-kit consists of twelve (12) different weld joints
- Weld joints must be welded with all three welding processes (GMAW/SMAW/GTAW)
* Must be completed with our Professional Power Tools product line, including
the TransPocket 180 Vintage Edition
* TIG portion can be completed with lift arc or high frequency
* Contestant must label the completed weld pack with full name/address/date/number
* Final judging will be completed once all fifty (50) entries are completed

Back: Two (2) Fillet welds
- .030 70S-6
- 75/25 CO2
Front & Back Tube: Eight (8) Fillet welds
- 3/32 ceriated tungsten
- 100% Argon gas
- .045 70S-2 filler
