completed showing full compatibility between the Fronius GEN24 and Midnite
Rosie, product number MNROSIE7048RE.
The Fronius GEN24 converts power from your solar panels into power you
can sell to the grid with extremely high efficiency, allowing you the best
energy offsets for your solar installation budget. MidNite’s battery-based inverters offer power
independence to support you during grid outages, but multiple energy
conversions lower efficiency during your energy reset.
Pairing the MidNite Rosie Inverter AC Coupled battery-based system to
your Fronius GEN24 string inverter allows for the best of both worlds! The
efficiency of the string inverter allows for perfect self-consumption, while
the AC coupled battery-based system gives you an option to connect a
low-voltage DC battery to keep your lights on during critical-power conditions.
What is AC
Coupling?
AC coupling allows a battery-based inverter to charge batteries and
power your home with the power from a grid tied inverter during a grid
failure. It does this by providing a
voltage signal to the grid tied inverter, so it continues to make power as if
the grid was still present. Your batteries will be charged from the
battery-based inverter, ensuring that your system is operating with maximum
runtime.
