Fronius and Renon Deliver a New High-Voltage DC Pairing for Solar Inverter and Battery Storage
Renon
and Fronius, two long-term manufacturers in the solar industry, are excited to
announce a new DC-coupled solution that offers uninterrupted power
for residential photovoltaic systems. The Fronius GEN24 and Fronius GEN24 Plus solar inverters (3.8-10.0 kW)
and the Renon Xtreme HV 1.0 battery energy systems (9.6, 14.4, and 19.2 kWh)
are officially fully certified to UL 9540.
This inverter-battery combination delivers the advantages of
high-voltage DC-coupled energy storage, offering installers and end-users a
more flexible, efficient, and future-ready power and a 10-year warranty on both
products. You can also get two extra years of material warranty when
registering on Fronius Solar.web and the Renon app.
Testing
has been successfully completed between the Fronius GEN24 and Fronius GEN24 Plus
inverter line and the newly available Renon Xtreme HV 1.0 DC-coupled battery
system to meet all UL 9540 and UL 9540A safety and performance
requirements. The new battery will
officially be available in North America starting February 12, 2026, offering
solar installers and homeowners a powerful new storage solution that pairs
seamlessly with the innovative Fronius GEN24 Plus smart inverter.

The Renon Xtreme HV 1.0 is a high voltage and exceptionally reliable battery
system built for residential use. Its high-voltage range of 192–384 V minimizes
transmission losses, while the modular design supports 2 to 4 stacked modules
for enhanced reliability through dynamic current equalization. The system
features advanced smart management WiFi connectivity, an intelligent Energy
Management System (EMS), and a battery optimizer rated for up to 8,000 cycles.

you’ll receive a continuous source of uninterrupted power closed-loop power to
