Marx Brothers Inc., is a family owned company based in Birmingham, Alabama. A national importer and supplier of high quality coconut products, Marx Brothers has launched a new sustainability initiative that includes the installation of a 132- kilowatt PV system on the roof of its Birmingham facility.
The PV system consists of 10 Fronius Symo SnapINverters, 10 Fronius Shade Covers, and 400 JA Solar 330- watt solar panels. Vulcan Solar Power a leading provider of turnkey solar energy systems across Alabama, Mississippi, and Georgia, designed and installed the PV system that is projected to produce more than 205,000 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity in its first year. The system is also the largest commercial system in central and southern Alabama.
