Crawley

/ As part of their energy management strategy, Crawley Borough Council have installed multiple PV systems across their estate and sought a suitable system for the third party managed Hawth Theatre. Fronius Service Partners, SAS Energy, were awarded the tender by the council to install this 47.32 kWp solar system which provides 8% of the total electricity requirement of the theatre.
/ The installation, designed by SAS Energy, maximised the available roof space whilst ensuring high standards of installation, good aesthetics and high yields plus the flexibility of the Fronius Symo series meant that 3 complex arrays could be used with the same inverter range. The PV system is connected to the theatre’s IT network via a Fronius Datamanager card which allows the inverters to communicate with the free monitoring tool Fronius Solar.web. This tool shows the systems energy production data and system status.
/ Mike Pidgeon, Facilities Manager for Crawley County Council comments, “We are very pleased with both the look and performance of the new system and find the information available via the Fronius system very useful. We would certainly use the system again on future installations.”
