Be it feasibility studies, prototype welding, pre-series, or small series contract manufacturing, at the Fronius prototyping center in Wels (Austria) we develop individual solutions for a variety of welding challenges. Our customers benefit from our comprehensive welding expertise, reducing their deadline pressure and investment risk.

“Since putting the Fronius prototyping center into operation at the beginning of 2021, we have successfully produced a range of solutions for our customers from different industries for a wide variety of requirements,” reveals Wolfgang Scherleitner, head of the prototyping center. “We not only provide technical support, but we have also expanded our services to include extensive high-tech analyses and simulations. This means that we can assure high quality and full welding data documentation.”

Our prototyping center offers real value, particularly where demanding quality requirements, complex design, tight schedules, or entirely new products are involved. We can join parts weighing up to 1,500 kg with dimensions of 3 x 2 meters. Our welding experts can also support switching from manual to robotic welding, or advise where new materials or welding processes will be used.
