Experiencing New Technologies First Hand: Technical Days at Fronius Spain

At the end of November, Fronius Spain invited customers to its “Technical Days” event at its site in Madrid, Spain. voestalpine Böhler Welding and Linde Gas were also present, adding to the range of topics covered at the event. Visitors were therefore able to find out about an extensive range of solutions for their welding requirements.

More than 70 end customers from a wide range of industries accepted the invitation to attend the event at Fronius’ application center in Madrid, where a range of technologies and processes were on display. Live demonstrations of TPS/i technology gave an insight into robot-assisted and manual welding. Furthermore, the new MagicWave TIG power source for manual welding was also on show. Visitors were also able to learn about other solutions, such as ArcTig, the mechanized TIG process, and the high-performance process, CMT Twin. The highlights in the area of automated welding were the FlexTrack welding carriage, and a system featuring a plasma keyhole process.

voestalpine Böhler Welding and Linde Gas presented innovations in the areas of filler material and shielding gas. As such, the event provided visitors with information and know-how on all topics relating to welding and opportunities for discussions with specialists.

“Thanks to this event, we were able to demonstrate our technical skills and to present our technologies to our customers in an application-based context,” explains Isaac Lozano from Fronius Spain. Fronius organizes regular demonstration workshops worldwide, where customers can get an overall picture of Fronius’ range of solutions.
