Course Overview & Aim

The Fronius Inverter I training course will provide those who attend with all the information and hands on experience to correctly size a PV system and install, set-up and configure a Fronius SnapINverter with system monitoring.

    • Learn about the features and benefits of the Fronius SnapINverter range
    • Understand how you can use the Fronius SnapINverters for large scale installations with the Fronius Power Package
  • How to install and configure a Fronius SnapINverter
  • Correct sizing and planning of a PV system using Fronius Solar.configurator
  • System monitoring, its importance and how using Fronius Solar.web and a Fronius Smart Meter can assist with proactive serving and understand energy consumption
  • Support tools and resources from FroniusHow should attend?
  • This course is aimed at PV installers but also suitable for PV project managers, system planners & technical sales advisors

Requirements

  • Delegates must have knowledge of PV systems, how they work and be competent in electrical engineering
  • Delegates should bring their own laptop, tablet and/or smart phone to participate in the practical elements of the course
  • We do advise that Fronius Solar.configurator is installed prior to attending the course. You can download the software here.

Duration and Costs

  • Fronius Inverter I is a one day course and free of charge

Upon Completion...

  • Upon completion of the course, delegates will receive a certificate of attendance
  • Delegates may then attend our Fronius Inverter II training course to become a certified Fronius Service Partner

Course Overview & Aim

The Fronius Inverter II training course will provide those who attend with all the information and hands on experience to confidently conduct servicing of Fronius inverters, including our unique PC board exchange concept. Attendance of Inverter I is a prerequisite to this course and completion of both days is compulsory for an FSP qualification.

Course Content

  • Fault finding
    • Learn the most common reasons for errors in a PV system and how to find and rectify them
  • Service codes
    •  Understand what the service codes on Fronius inverters mean and how to resolve them
  •  The PC board exchange
    •  Get hands-on with the Fronius SnapINverter and IG product range
    • Understand how to change the relevant board in relation to a service code on the inverter
  • Advanced Fronius DATCOM
    • Using the admin area of Fronius Solar.web for proactive servicing of the PV system
    • Smart meter installation and configuration
    • Ability to use DATCOM products to upsell and cross sell at the right time for the system owner
  • Advance grid features

How should attend?

  • This course is aimed at PV installers that would like to provide a proactive maintenance service to their customers and undertake service cases issued by Fronius where onsite assistance is required.

Requirements

  • Delegates must have knowledge of PV systems, how they work and be competent in electrical engineering
  • Completion of the Fronius Inverter I course
  • Delegates should bring their own laptop, tablet and/or smart phone to participate in the practical elements of the course
  • We do advise that Fronius Solar.configurator is installed prior to attending the course. You can download the software here.

Duration and Costs

  • Fronius Inverter II is a one day course and is charged at £125 ex VAT. For companies with more than one participant attending, additional participants are charged at £75 ex VAT per person.

Upon Completion...

  • Upon completion of the course, delegates will receive a certificate of attendance
  • Upon receipt of the signed and completed Fronius Service Partner contract, those who have completed both Fronius Inverter I and II will become a certified Fronius Service Partner.

The SOLARWATT certified installer training course will provide those who attend with all the information and hands on experience to confidently size and install a SOLARWATT My Reserve battery storage system.

Course Content

  • Correct sizing of SOLARWATT storage system
  • Installation and commissioning of the battery
  • Troubleshooting

Who should attend?

  • This course is aimed at PV installers that would like to provide customers with a residential storage solution for their PV system.

Requirements

  • Delegates must have knowledge of PV systems, how they work and be competent in electrical engineering.

Duration and Costs

  • This is a one day course and is charged at £75 ex VAT.

Upon Completion...

  • Upon completion of the course, delegates will receive a certificate of attendance and confirmation of their certified status.

During this technical course, you will learn how to maintain and service the Fronius central inverters from the CL and Agilo product range.

Course Content

  • Overview of product features
  • Component replacement
  • Troubleshooting
  • Service visits

How should attend?

  • This course is aimed at PV installers that would like to provide servicing and maintenance of Fronius central inverters

Requirements

  • Participants must have completed the Fronius Service Partner qualification training or are scheduled to complete the training prior to attending the central inverter training course.
  • Experience in planning and/or installing PV systems
  • Competent person in electrical installations


Duration and Costs

  • This is a half day course and is charged at £50 ex VAT.

  • Upon completion of the course, delegates will receive a certificate of attendance
