Fronius System Partner (FSP) Qualification

During this one day face-to-face course, PV installers will be provided with all the information and hands on experience to confidently conduct the commissioning and servicing of Fronius inverters, including our unique PC board exchange concept. Attendees will also discover more about Fronius EV chargers, battery storage, digital tools and so much more!

***This course is for installers who have submitted an application and been accepted to join the Fronius System Partner (FSP) Programme - this could be a Fronius Trained Installer (FTI) or an installer who has completed E-Academy **(with a pass rate of at least 80%) and has registered the minimum number of inverters to become an FSP. Installers who have submitted a successful FSP application will receive an email directly from us with an “activation code”, this code is required to submit the training registration.

** If you have not completed E-Academy you can enrol using a Solar.Web account which, if you don’t already have one, you can sign up for here (there is no limit to how many people from one company can access the course but each person accessing E-Academy requires their own unique login).

Course Information

Course content

  • Through hands-on training, confidently install and commission Fronius inverters
  • Fault Finding - learn the most common reasons for errors in a PV system and how to reliably find and rectify them
  • Service codes - recognise what the service codes on Fronius inverters mean and how you can resolve them
  • The PC Board Exchange - understand how to change the relevant board in relation to a service code on the inverter
  • The repair and exchange process - how to initiate the process and use the correct packaging and paperwork
  • Introduction to Fronius SOS for online technical support and repair or replacement initiation
  • Familiarise yourself with the range of Fronius digital tools
  • See how Fronius Wattpilot Flex EV chargers use energy from Fronius UK's PV system

  • Discover various ways of using surplus solar power including the Fronius Ohmpilot which is the first choice for PV system owners who want to use their solar power to heat water
  • Explore Fronius Battery storage solutions including the AI-based energy management Energy Cost Assistant (ECA) which 'works with Octopus'
  • Meet the Fronius UK based Solar and Energy team including Techsupport
  • Network with other PV professionals during breakout sessions and lunch

Who should attend?

This course is ideal for PV installers who would like to not only install but also provide a proactive maintenance service to their customers and undertake service cases issued by Fronius where onsite assistance is required.

Requirements

  • The company/ installer has submitted a successful Fronius System Partner (FSP) application - approved companies will receive an email directly from us with an “activation code”. This code is required to submit the training registration
  • The company/ installer is a Fronius Trained Installer (FTI) or has completed the Fronius Solutions E-Academy course with a pass rate of at least 80%
  • Delegates must have knowledge of PV systems, how they work and be competent in electrical engineering
  • Delegates should bring their own laptop, tablet and/or smart phone to participate in the digital tool elements of this course

Duration and costs

This one day, face-to-face, intensive course (including lunch and refreshments) is free of charge - however, as places are limited, Fronius UK reserve the right to invoice a no-show fee

Upon completion

Delegates will receive a certificate of completion following the course and the company/ installer will become a Fronius System Partner (FSP).
