Ignis 250: MMA welding up to 250 amperes

Our Ignis series is made for everyday welding jobs. By expanding our portfolio to include the Ignis 250, we are adding a powerful device designed for manual arc welding with up to 250 A – anytime and anywhere. And thanks to the extended version (XT), it can also be used worldwide.

The new three-phase Ignis 250 takes the existing Ignis 150/180 series up another notch and offers maximum flexibility – while continuing to deliver familiar Ignis functions such as HotStart, SoftStart, Anti-Stick, MMA Pulse, and TrackingArc. All of which create the perfect conditions for welding work on thicker materials or jobs involving electrodes with a larger diameter.

Welders face challenges in the form of varied environmental influences, hard-to-reach areas, or voltage fluctuations in the power grid, especially during maintenance and servicing tasks or assembly work. This is precisely where the Ignis comes into its own.

In addition to performance, our new Ignis is all about user friendliness. A larger control panel including welding current display ensures that welders have everything in view. The favourites button brings the most important welding parameters to the first menu level for quick and convenient access. In addition, up to five EasyJobs (i.e., current welding-relevant settings) can be saved.

Perfect welds and easy handling are standout features of the Ignis 250, but this machine also boasts a long service life. The high-quality materials and sturdy housing ensure this one is built to last. All key components are positioned so that they are easily accessible and can therefore be serviced or repaired quickly in the event of a failure. Like all our Fronius welding machines, the Ignis 250 is fit for the future – even when frequently exposed to high levels of wear and environmental influences.
