Successfully
integrating the heating, electricity and mobility sectors is essential for
achieving the Fronius vision1 of 24 hours of sun. “Energy sector integration is no longer a
dream of the future. At Intersolar, we will be exhibiting various application
examples for both the home and the commercial sector. For example, the Fronius
Ohmpilot not only maximises your rate of self-consumption by heating water, it
is also a simple energy storage solution,” reveals Martin Hackl, Head of
Solar Energy at Fronius International GmbH. Fronius will also be providing detailed
information about the integration of third-party components such as heating
elements or heat pumps.
Using Fronius Solar.web as an analysis tool
Using the
Fronius Solar.web online portal, users can monitor their PV system, analyse
data and thus optimise their energy usage, with ease. The benefits for
installers include a clear overview, automatic yield comparisons of multiple
inverters and the ability to manage several systems. “Fronius Solar.web and the Fronius Smart Meter combine to create an
outstanding analysis tool. System owners can find out what happens to their
energy and how they can optimise their usage of it. Solar.web offers installers
detailed analyses to help them decide which products and services may be
suitable for their customers in future, as well as a practical means to carry
out remote updates,” explains Product Manager Thomas Obermüller.
Thanks to
Fronius Energy Profiling it is now possible to measure consumers and generators
using more than one Fronius Smart Meter. In addition, Fronius will be unveiling
a brand-new portal function. “We will
exclusively reveal the feature for the first time at the trade fair. There’s
plenty for visitors to look forward to!” enthuses Obermüller. In the
future, the portal will also provide tips and recommendations for further
improving your energy balance, as well as weather forecasts.
Custom storage solutions
It is
important for system operators to be able to use as much of the electricity
they have generated as possible, in the most optimised way possible. They must
therefore be able to store solar energy efficiently and use it whenever needed.
Fronius has a wide range of products available to offer bespoke solutions with
custom components to meet the exact requirements of the customer. “Finding the best storage solution for the
situation on the ground is becoming ever more difficult for an increasing
number of manufacturers. Fronius offers a comprehensive range of storage
solutions that can be used to meet a wide variety of customer requirements,” explains
Martin Hackl.
Efficient energy sector integration for the
commercial sector
The
Fronius Eco and Fronius Symo inverters as well as the Fronius Smart Meter will
also be exhibited in Munich. They offer an excellent foundation for energy
sector integration in the commercial sector. Targeted use and constant
measurement and monitoring allows users to make significant savings. The latest
trends in hydrogen technology from Fronius will also be on display. Hydrogen
allows electricity, heating and mobility to be further integrated and thus
encourages the usage of renewable energy sources. Whether for long-term energy
storage or e-mobility for businesses, this technology is enabling us to take
another big step towards 24 hours of sun.
Even
after the trade fair, there are still exciting things to look forward to, such
as a preview of the new inverter generation.
