  • A permanent Internet connection (LAN or WLAN) is required for optimum use of Solar.web
  • To fully commission the photovoltaic system, registration on the Solar.web platform is required (linking the system with Solar.web)
  • Hardware compatibility must be ensured (the Fronius inverter must have an integrated data communication unit (retrofitting is possible for older devices) 
  • Regular updates of the Fronius system components and the Solar.web platform are necessary to ensure the functionality and security of the service.

  • Information
    • Passing on information to users about important events  

Description and explanation necessary to understand the performance of the service:

  • A permanent Internet connection (mobile data or WLAN) is required for optimal use of the Solar.web app
  • To fully commission the photovoltaic system, registration on the Solar.web platform is required (linking the system with Solar.web)
  • There must be hardware compatibility (the Fronius inverter must have an integrated data communication unit (retrofitting is possible for older devices)
  • Regular updates of the Fronius system components and the Solar.web platform are necessary to ensure the functionality and security of the service. It is also recommended that you regularly update the operating system of your mobile device and update the Solar.web app.

Fronius Repowering Tool is a free, web-based tool for modernizing existing photovoltaic systems. It supports specialist companies in replacing outdated or underperforming inverters with modern Fronius devices in order to increase the efficiency and service life of the PV system.

The repowering tool offers the following functions:

  • Analysis and evaluation
    • Identification of obsolete inverters and suggestions for suitable Fronius models.
  • Optimization
    • Improving energy yield and system availability through modern technology.
  • Planning aid
    • Support with the selection of compatible devices.

  • The tool is platform-independent and works on PCs, tablets and smartphones.

Solar.calc offers the following functions:

  • Determination of a PV system size based on location, roof area and electricity consumption
  • Profitability forecast with earnings forecast
  • Option to forward the configuration to a Fronius partner company

  • It is used via a web browser - no installation is necessary.
