Your Fronius charger comes with a two-year warranty. In order to extend the warranty period up to 5 years you need to sign in to your account and register the Fronius charger. You can complete your registration here.

Fronius warranty

Your Fronius charger leaves Fronius with two-year manufacturer’s warranty. If you register your device within 12 months after your purchase, the warranty start date is updated to reflect the actual purchase date entered upon registration. The warranty period will be set to 5 years from purchase date. You can complete your registration here.
Once you have registered your Fronius charger within 12 months after the purchase, the warranty start date is updated to the date mentioned during the product registration. The warranty period will be set to 5 years from purchase date. You can complete your registration here.
Once you have completed the product registration you can find the Fronius warranty certificate on your account next to the registered charger. In addition, you will receive an automated email with your certificate as soon as it is available to the e-mail address you used to register. 
If a free of charge warranty extension is offered in your country (Please refer to the applicable Fronius Warranty Terms and Conditions), you need to sign in to https://warranty.fronius.com/pc/ and register the Fronius charger (serial number required). Once you have completed the registration the warranty period will be set to 5 years from purchase date. 
The warranty extension can only be granted for Fronius chargers of the Selectiva 4.0 generation within 12 months from the date of purchase. In our Fronius Warranty Terms and Conditions you can also check whether the free warranty extension is available in your country. https://warranty.fronius.com/pc/ will always state the current expiry date for your Fronius warranty. In case the warranty expiry date for your Fronius charger is incorrect please contact our customer service from your e-mail address which is connected to your account utilising our contact form
Yes, every Fronius charger of the Selectiva 4.0 generation has to be registered individually with the respective serial number within 12 months after the purchase date. 
The warranty details apply to the serial number of a Fronius charger. Therefore, the warranty details remain the same even in case of a changed ownership. 
After completing the registration, your warranty certificate will be sent promptly by email to the e-mail address you provide. The warranty certificate is also available for download at https://warranty.fronius.com/pc/. If you have not received a warranty certificate, please contact our customer service from your e-mail address, which is connected to your account utilising our contact form.
Fronius does not offer any additional extensions for the warranty duration of our chargers.
