Products make an impression on both sides of the Atlantic

The Primo GEN24 Plus is the all-in-one solution with an integrated energy management system and an integrated basic emergency power supply. From 2020, the equipment will be available as a single-phase version (Primo GEN24 Plus) and a three-phase version (Symo GEN24 Plus) and ideal for worldwide use. They provide all the benefits of the SnapINverter and boast additional features, such as being incredibly quick to commission using an app and offering the fastest service plan on the market. The Primo GEN24 impressed the jury in four of the seven Plus X Award categories: High Quality, Ease of Use, Functionality and Ecology. The jury of specialist editors, designers and industry experts voted it product of the year. “With the GEN24, we provide both installers and end customers with a complete energy ecosystem. This enables them to develop and advance the energy revolution according to their own individual requirements, thus also enabling them to remain cost effective and profitable,” explained Martin Hackl.

Some of the other advantages noted by the jury included its ease of installation, commissioning and servicing, the SuperFlex Design, system monitoring via mobile terminal devices and the option of connecting a number of inverters simultaneously. “This success is all credit to the great cooperation with our installers. Our partners regularly provide us with valuable feedback, which we incorporate in the development of products,” stated Martin Hackl.

Award in the USA
Accolades for Fronius did not just come from Europe; the company also picked up an award on the other side of the pond: The PV Evolutions Lab (PVEL), one of the world’s leading independent test laboratories for the PV industry in Berkeley, California, declared the PV inverter Symo Advanced as “Top Performer 2019” in three categories. The inverter performed particularly well when operating at high temperatures, and in terms of its response time and arc recognition. The Symo Advanced is currently available in the USA.
