With the new Ignis Battery, we are expanding our range to include a battery-powered solution that delivers high-quality welding results even when out in the field. Whether on remote construction sites, in agricultural facilities or for urban assembly work— the Ignis Battery is at home wherever mobility, robustness, and reliability are a must.

The compact unit weighs in at just 12 kg (excluding charger) and offers up to 150 A of power for manual arc and TIG welding due to the high-performance 750 Wh lithium-ion battery (LiFePO4). Thanks to its IP23 safety class, stainless steel filter, and 3.5 cm ground clearance, it also delivers in spite of rain, dust, and extreme temperatures.

The unit's intelligent battery technology with integrated battery management system protects against overcharging and deep discharge and enables welding of up to 31 electrodes (2.5 mm) or 30 minutes of TIG welding at 100 A with just a single battery charge. What's more, the quick-charge function ensures an 80% charge in just 40 minutes.

In hybrid mode, it's possible to perform welding and charging at the same time—full output power is maintained even if the mains voltage fluctuates. A small 2 kVA generator is sufficient for generator-powered operation, significantly reducing transport costs and noise on the construction site.

Sophisticated functions such as HotStart, SoftStart, TrackingArc, Anti-Stick, and MMA Pulse make welding easier and ensure perfect results—even in tight spaces. TIG Pulse, TIG Comfort Stop, and the TIG Multi Connector are available for TIG welding.
