As part of a major infrastructure project being carried out under the auspices of the local government, a PV system was installed on the roof of a bus terminal in the little town of Cochrane, southern Chile.
With an output of 28.08 kWp, it is the largest system to have ever been installed in southern Chile to date. One hundred and eight solar modules from the German manufacturer Solarnova were installed, together with two Fronius Symo inverters. The final installation ensures that virtually all future energy needs will be covered exclusively by solar power.
