Sector coupling for greater self-sufficiency and
Fronius aims to achieve extensive digital and functional networking of Fronius systems with sector coupling products in order to bring even more sun to the heating, cooling and mobility sectors. “Our products and solutions make it possible to achieve greater self-sufficiency and security in energy supply,” says Martin Hackl. In addition to traditional power generation, hybrid inverters enable connection of a battery storage system. This allows surplus solar energy to be used for heating or cooling, or to charge the electric car. “This turns our vision of ‘24 hours of sun’ into reality,” adds Hackl.
Digital Lifecycle Assistance – digital tools for
service and support
“Fronius wants the best possible support for its customers,” explains Robert Müllehner, Product Marketing, Solar Energy Business Unit, Fronius International GmbH. Digital Lifecycle Assistance is a holistic concept that supports the entire lifecycle of a PV system.
Starting with a customer platform with access to relevant information, Digital Lifecycle Assistance covers all eventualities, including project planning, commissioning, monitoring, management and troubleshooting in service cases. “Digital Lifecycle Assistance helps us even better harmonize Fronius tools. We can quickly identify problems, create new solutions and expand existing solutions,” Müllehner says happily.
