We regularly advertise subject-related work experience placements and also award placements for theses. We work closely with various educational institutions, such as technical colleges, universities of applied sciences, and other universities.

We want you to quickly find your feet with us and feel comfortable in your new team. That’s why you’ll have a mentor from your very first day. Their task is to provide you with as much support as you need, both in the office and while you’re working from home. They will take you round the company, introduce you to the most important co-workers from other departments, help you get to grips with the time recording system, help you get the equipment you need, and much more besides.
You will also take part in our Incoming Day with other newcomers during your first few days, which will give you an overview of the most important information. Another highlight of your onboarding is the Fronius Day, where we go into even more depth. In addition to our business areas and our values, you will also get to know the management board personally, who will be available to answer your questions. Further internal training will round off your successful start with us.
You can attend numerous workshops, training sessions, courses, and presentations for your professional and personal development:
- The Fronius training program covers different content each year for white collar and blue collar workers and managers with a focus on personal skills, perspectives, knowledge, and tools.
- Start as a semi-skilled employee and after ten months of paid training you can become a specialist: Yes, that is possible with us. Find out more about our promotion program for manufacturing staff here.
- Join the Dual Academy program as a Matura school-leaving certificate holder or become a specialist after completing your Fronius apprenticeship with our internal traineeship scheme.

Manager training
New managers take part in a multi-stage program to boost their skills. In addition, we offer numerous workshops, training courses, and coaching sessions, all with the aim of further developing the management culture at Fronius around the world.
Program to upgrade qualifications
To actively tackle the shortage of skilled workers, Fronius offers interested manufacturing employees the opportunity to obtain a full apprenticeship qualification in electrical engineering. The company bears the costs of the training.
We have many different and flexible models, from flexible working hours to shift work. We are also happy to develop individual models so that we can offer the best possible solution for everyone.
