The largest PV system with Fronius inverters in Ukraine

Tokmak is a small town in the southern part of central Ukraine. In 2018, the local installation company Tokmak Solar Energy completed Ukraine’s largest PV system, which generates an impressive 51.9 MWp of solar energy. The solar energy plant is therefore making an extraordinary contribution to increasing the role of renewables in Ukraine’s energy mix.

There were several reasons for choosing the Fronius Eco inverter, one of which being the PC board replacement technology.This means that should servicing be required, Tokmak can replace any faulty components on the inverter directly onsite, thus avoiding lengthy downtimes. Another is the active cooling technology, which keeps down maintenance costs. In other words, the lowest running costs for the maximum yields.
