PV meets farm's energy needs

As a dairy farm with 160 milk cows and 100 young stock, who produces about 1,2 million litres of milk annually, Vermeulen LV needs a lot of energy. Therefore, they decided to install a photovoltaic system to supply their farm with sun energy.

The produced energy is used for lightning, gates, chargers, fans, milking robots, high pressure sprayers, cooling, boilers, etc.

Independency from the grid

With the Fronius PV systems they are able to live completely without the grid.

In 2020 three Victron Quattro 15000 inverters have been installed inside the farm together with the batteries and their chargers.
