Cobot welding
Precision robotic welding for small series and single components

Modern cobot welding cells deliver unbeatable efficiency
In the manufacturing industry, collaborative robots, or cobots, have become indispensable partners in the field of welding technology. These welding robots are revolutionizing automated welding by putting efficiency, precision, and safety front and center.
Our innovative cobot systems are designed to adapt flexibly to your specific requirements in production. Whether you’re working with small, complex components or large, cumbersome structures, we offer the right cobot solution for every application.
The advantages of cobots
CWC-mobile cobot welding cell
Mobile cobot welding with a compact, safe, and certified machine
The Fronius CWC-mobile is the perfect choice for flexible cobot welding. Thanks to its compact design and transport unit with retractable casters, it’s easy to move the welding cell between large components.
The system is CE-certified and complies with all legally required safety regulations. The integrated safety package includes not only the cobot’s power and torque limiter but also additional safety measures such as fume extraction, a movable glare shield (EN ISO 25980), and personal protective equipment (gloves, protective clothing, and welding helmet).
Thanks in particular to low investment costs and rapid programming, the welding table offers a cost-effective solution for small-batch production compared to traditional robotic systems.
Highlights:
- Portable and flexible
- CE-certified safety concept
- Designed for collaboration

CWC-Extended
We custom-design CWC-Extended cobot welding cells for applications outside the scope of our CWC-mobile, CWC-S, and CWC-D variants. The system solution is based on modular components and is precisely tailored to the customer’s specific component, welding process (MIG/MAG or TIG), and manufacturing requirements.
Depending on the application, it is also possible to integrate elements such as tracks, positioning units, or multiple stations. This enables operators to reliably weld even complex component geometries with consistent, reproducible results, while benefiting from intuitive handling and minimal engineering effort.

Pathfinder
Boost productivity with Fronius Pathfinder
When using cobot welding cells, offline programming offers the advantage of creating and testing programs without having to stop ongoing production. This minimizes downtimes while boosting productivity. Finished programs can simply be transferred to the welding cell and adjusted directly on the cobot if needed.
