Store solar power
Batteries for PV systems

Your energy when you need it
A battery storage system can significantly increase the self-consumption rate of the solar power you generate. At the same time, your energy costs are reduced because you are less reliant on electricity from the public grid. Your surplus solar power is stored in the battery for use during peak demand or nighttime hours.
To provide you with the best possible support in maximizing your self-consumption, we have developed our own storage solution: the Fronius Reserva. The Reserva has been designed as the perfect partner to the Fronius GEN24 Plus and Verto Plus and is available in capacities from 6.3 to 15.8 kWh. Thanks to its slim design, it also fits easily into narrow spaces and the lithium iron phosphate technology guarantees maximum safety and a long service life.
As part of the Fronius ecosystem, Reserva is the ideal choice for a perfectly coordinated system solution. Fronius hybrid inverters are also compatible with battery storage systems from selected partners too, providing you with maximum flexibility when designing your individual energy solution.

How big should my battery be?
The correct storage capacity plays a key role in achieving maximum self-consumption, greater independence, and optimal efficiency from your PV system.
The power consumption during the day must be taken into account. If family members are at home during the day and consuming electricity (such as working from home or running household appliances), a PV battery with a lower capacity is sufficient. If the home is mostly empty during the day, there is more surplus energy that can be stored for later.
As a general rule of thumb:
