Fronius hybrid inverters are compatible with a range of battery storage systems. For particularly efficient and seamless integration, we recommend the Fronius Reserva & Reserva Pro: It is designed to fit seamlessly into the Fronius ecosystem, delivering exceptional efficiency and performance.
Our inverters also support storage systems from other manufacturers (such as BYD or LG), giving you complete flexibility when selecting a battery, whether you choose a proven third-party option or the Fronius storage solution.

Parallel operation of compatible battery storage systems
Through the parallel operation of compatible battery storage systems, higher storage capacities can be achieved and systems can be flexibly adapted to individual energy requirements. * The Premium
HVS/HVM combiner box cannot be used for a parallel connection with the Verto
Plus. Either the installer must carry out the wiring in accordance with local
regulations, or a suitable combiner box for battery currents up to 50 A must
be used, such as the BYD Battery-Box Combiner Box Plus.
**An identical number of modules per
tower is required for parallel operation. Regardless of the number of Fronius
Reserva battery towers connected in parallel, the maximum output current is
limited to 32 A. Example: Even with 4x15.8 kWh, the maximum DC charging/discharging
power of the Fronius Verto Plus 30 remains approx. 16.38 kW.
***The parallel connection of three HVB
towers (23.7, 26.7, 29.6) and three HVM+ 22.1 towers is supported from
inverter firmware version 1.40 onwards.
