Active cooling technology reliably protects the power electronics, extends the service life, and prevents potential derating. The double-walled housing also ensures optimum temperature compensation, even in direct sunlight. This keeps the inverter’s performance consistently high even at ambient temperatures of up to 50 degrees Celsius.

Versions

The Fronius Tauro and Tauro Eco are both available in two versions. While the Direct (D) version enables the DC strings to be connected directly to the device and offers an optional arc fault circuit interrupter, the Precombined (P) version allows centralized system designs to be implemented.

The Fronius Tauro Direct and Tauro Precombined are available in the 50 kW power category and both have three MPP trackers with a wide voltage range.

The Fronius Tauro ECO Direct and Tauro ECO Precombined are available in power categories 50, 99.99, and 100 kW, and both have an MPP tracker with a reduced voltage range.
