Longitudinal seam welding systems

Longitudinal seam welding: which systems and materials are most suitable?
High seam quality, process reliability, and flexibility are crucial when welding longitudinal seams in tank and plant construction.
The longitudinal seam welding systems from Fronius are designed as seam welders for internal and external welding. Suitable for both single batch and series production, they enable the reproducible production of weld seams for specific metalworking requirements. Thanks to a range of welding processes and flexible equipment options, these welding systems can be optimally adapted to different component geometries and production conditions.
Each application has its own particular requirements with regards to material, wall thickness, and seam quality. For longitudinal seam welding, the process can be precisely adapted to suit a variety of materials and their specific areas of application.

Custom adaptations for extended component dimensions
We supply customer-specific seam welder solutions for non-standard applications. Based on tried and tested technology, the iSeamer is tailored to your geometries and welding processes from a component length of 4100 mm. This means that even large-format or specialized components can be processed reliably with repeatable results.
