Conditions of participation in the Fronius competition“Win a 3-year subscription to Solar.web Premium”
1. Organizer
The organizer of this competition is Fronius International GmbH, having its registered office in A-4643 Pettenbach, Froniusstrasse 1, Austria, hereinafter referred to as Fronius. Participation in the Fronius International GmbH competition is free of charge and is exclusively governed by these conditions of participation.
The competition is held on the social media channels operated by Fronius (Instagram, Facebook). This competition is in no way connected to Facebook or Instagram and is in no way sponsored, supported or organized by Facebook or Instagram. Errors and misprints are excepted.
2. Competition procedure
Every participant who follows the Fronius Solar & Energy channel, likes the post and comments on it during the competition period is eligible to take part in the competition. The participation period for the competition begins on 11.05.2026 (09.00 CET) and ends on 18.05.2026 (09.00 CET).
3. Participation and eligible participants
Participation in this competition is free of charge and not tied to any purchase. In order to take part in the competition, following the Fronius Solar & Energy Instagram or Facebook page, liking the post and leaving a comment is required. By following the Instagram or Facebook page and liking and commenting on the post, the participant agrees to the terms and conditions. Participation is only possible within the participation period. Participation in the competition is only possible once per person. All natural persons aged 18 and over who are resident in Austria are eligible for participation. If a participant’s legal capacity is restricted, the consent of their legal representative is required. Participation does not give rise to any legal claims, and Fronius assumes no liability.
4. Exclusion from the competition
Fronius employees and other persons involved in the design and realization of this competition and their family members are excluded from participation.
Fronius expressly reserves the right, at its own discretion, to exclude persons from participation if there are justified reasons, for example (a) in the event of manipulation in connection with access to or implementation of the competition, (b) in the event of violations of these conditions of participation, (c) in the event of unfair behaviour or (d) in the event of false or misleading information in connection with participation in the competition.
5. Winning, notification and transfer of the prize
The following prize will be awarded three times: 3 years of Fronius Solar.web Premium, valued at € 64.80.
The three winners will be determined on May 18, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. (CET) in a random draw from all participants. The winners of the draw will be informed promptly via a direct message on Instagram. The prize will only be handed over to the winner or the winner's legal representative. It is not possible to exchange, collect or pay out the prize in cash. Any costs incurred for the dispatch of the prize will be borne by Fronius. Any additional costs associated with claiming the prize shall be borne by the winner. The winner is responsible for paying any taxes due in connection with the prize.
If the winner does not confirm the prize within 1 week of being requested, the prize will be forfeited and another participant will be selected as the winner in a new draw. The prize entitlement cannot be assigned. Legal recourse and cash payments are excluded.
6. Cancellation of the competition
Fronius expressly reserves the right to cancel the competition at any time without prior notice and without providing any reasons. This applies in particular to any reasons that would disrupt or prevent the competition from running as planned. The competition will be cancelled in particular if proper implementation cannot be guaranteed due to technical (e.g. errors or manipulation affecting the hardware and/or software used) or legal reasons.
7. Data protection
The processing of the participant's personal data is necessary for participation in the competition and for contacting the participant in the event of a win. This in particular includes the personal data collected from the participant himself/herself such as first and last name, address, and, if applicable, the participant’s username on Facebook or Instagram. The participant is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided.
Fronius processes personal data in accordance with the statutory provisions and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
The participants’ personal data will be used exclusively for participation, the organization of the competition and the announcement, publication and delivery of the prize and will be processed by Fronius for these purposes. The participants’ personal data will not be transferred to third parties or made available for their use without the participant's consent.
Every participant has the right to information, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, data portability and complaint to Fronius at dataprotection@fronius.com or to the Austrian Data Protection Authority, Barichgasse 40-42, 1030 Vienna, in connection with their personal data. 8. Governing Law
Questions or complaints in connection with the competition should be addressed to Fronius. Contact details can be found below. The operator's competition is subject exclusively to Austrian law. Legal recourse is excluded.
9. Severability Clause
Should any provision of these conditions of participation be or become invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these conditions of participation. The invalid provision shall be replaced by the legally permissible provision that comes closest to the economic meaning and purpose expressed in the invalid provision. The same applies in the event of a loophole in these conditions of participation.
