Energy Cost Assistant

The Energy Cost Assistant optimizes charging and discharging of the battery storage system by responding to electricity prices in real time. This means at periods where feed-in tariffs are high, your battery storage system will remain discharged or continue to discharge as the Energy Cost Assistant will feed the PV yield into the public grid. The intelligent feature also helps to extend the service life of the battery storage system by only charging when it makes economic sense to do so.

If this does not resolve your problem, please contact our customer service team using the e-mail address associated with your user account. Please use our contact form to report the issue. If you do not have access to the e-mail address associated with your account, please send us a scan of a valid ID document. We ask for this for security reasons as confidential data can be viewed in your account.

Providing a free warranty extension is offered in your country (see here: Fronius warranty downloads), you will need to log in to www.solarweb.com and register your Fronius inverter using its serial number. At the end of the registration process, you will be asked to extend your warranty. To do this, click on “Choose warranty”. You will then be to taken to a page where you can select from the warranty models available to you. Watch this video for help with the registration process.

Warranty extensions can only be purchased for Fronius inverters that are still covered by an existing Fronius warranty and have not exceeded the maximum term of 20 years. We only offer warranty extensions for the SnapINverter generation.
